BETH: Its kind of hard to believe, but its been 20 years since the beloved animated
film ANASTASIA hit theaters. To celebrate the anniversary, the Broadway
production of ANASTASIA hosted a special performance of Journey to the Past sung by star
Christy Altomare at the Broadhurst Theatre. [Music]
[Music] --It was incredible, surreal, unbelievable,
20 years since the animated film came out in the theaters. We are all so
excited and grateful to be a part of the show at this historic time in Anastacia
history.

I just feel like especially in today's day and age, it's so important to
have this message that this fairy tale story brings across, which is this
beautiful character Anya that is afraid, but knows against all odds she needs to
find her family, and she moves forward even through fear, and I think that is a
beautiful just lesson in life if we could all live that way that yes life is
gonna have its obstacles, but if you keep moving forward with love and hope in
your heart, anything is possible. --You might think performing Journey to the Past eight times a week would get old, but Christy Altomare certainly doesn't
think so. --No! It never gets old. It never gets old.

I'm tearing up now thinking
about it. Journey to the Past, is, it is a classic
and I could listen to that song every day and never ever get tired of it [Music] [cheers].

Hey guys, welcome back, and hello to you new people too. Today I'm bringing you one of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio. I bought the trio Pool Party, because I thought it would be great for my fair skin. It has these three colors. This is Blank matte blushing oak. This is Pageant, matte pink with gold sparkle. This is Kash, matte apricot-peach. I'm currently wearing Blank on my cheeks. I applied it using this SauceBox brush by basically kind of fitting it right here and blending it upwards and inwards. The blushes are extremely soft, they blend out very easily. I'm going to go ahead and swatch all three of them on the back of my hand for you. Now, they're kind of oddly-shaped in this palette, which is why I reach for this brush, so I just bring my brush across this a little bit and I'm going to show you what it looks like on the back of my hand. The Secret of Anastasia - Phelous

Another "Secret of" movie? Well, I sure hope it's that Anastasia grows wings and was possibly an angel the whole time. Spoilers: it's DUMBER. Maybe... [Extremely generic music from this movie] What, are these multiplying? Alright, before we get started here, I should point out, there are A FEW historical inaccuracies in The Secret of Anastasia. I'll list them out: EVERYTHING. [Phelous] Okay, there's some basic parts of history, like the shooting of the Romanovs, but that's about it. This is obviously more of a UAV cash-in on Don Bluth's Anastasia movie, which was also a fairy tale set around these events. Pretty much most adaptations of Anastasia are about as historically accurate as Daffy Duck hitting Hitler over the head with a mallet. Fortunately... ...Or maybe UNfortunately, depending on how you wanna look at it, this version does NOT turn Rasputin into a sorcerer. He couldn't even be bothered to appear in this one. Anastasia (Dingo Pictures) - Phelous

Dingo Pictures was somehow more accurate with their adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame than both UAV AND Golden Films--in their own goofy way... Can they do the same for Anastasia? Spoilers: no. [Chamber music] Oh Dingo, Dingo, Dingo, they really did it with this one. I mean, watching Dingo Pictures is always quite the experience, but this one just has you constantly reeling to try and keep up with the nonsense! [Phelous] Some of these Dingo Pictures movies have quite the cover variations. I've mentioned how a lot of them tried to look better than the actual Dingo Picture character models, but that's not so much the case for the English DVD for Anastasia. This cruddy picture here isn't even representative of what she looks like in the slightest! They got the dog down, though, who is the main character, if you believe this tacked-on title screen.
